Our College in Birkenhead !
In 2002 we opened our doors and started our “Performing Arts College”.
We are a government funded college and take school leavers who are aged 14 +15 years old and school leavers 16 - 18 inclusive years old.
Run over 3 days Mon - Wed 9.30 - 4.30 students learn a varied style of dance. (Street, Lyrical, Freestyle, Jazz etc) along with a percentage of singing and drama.
You will be studying the B’Tec curriculum and producing a portfolio that will gain you invaluable formal qualifications.
Every student is mentored and encouraged to get the best possible improvement they can. In addition Millington’s run choreography competitions and 2 college shows per term where you can perform to a live audience.
If you have an aptitude for the Performing Arts then this could be the answer to your dreams.
In most cases leavers will qualify for EMA (Educational Maintenance Allowance) at £30 per week.
Most of our former pupils have gone on to gain employment in the industry
